Description

***Last Pups Available. Ready to leave from 19/07/25. All puppies have now had their first vaccinations, have been microchipped and Vet Tested. All extremely healthy and above average weight***

Our two family pet working Cocker Spaniels have had their first (and last) litter of 6 beautiful, chunky and healthy puppies, 4 boys and 2 girls. They have grown into extremely confident puppies, getting on well with toilet training and showing signs of high intelligence.

They are very happy with adults, kids, babies and other dogs and have interacted with all on a daily basis.

About the puppies: Currently at 6 weeks old (05/07/25), the puppies are very happy and healthy, showing daily signs of maturity. They were all born above the average weight and have continuously gained weight at a healthy pace since birth. They have been raised in the heart of our home and are already used to household noises. They are also spending a lot of time outside and are getting used to outdoor noises. The puppies will be extremely well socialised and well handled with adults and children, and they interact daily with our family dogs where they have no fear!

About the parents: Mum & Dad are our family pets who are both very chilled inside the house and love cuddles on the sofa, but do not underestimate their enjoyment of being out and about; they love an adventure. We often travel with them in our campervan around the UK and Europe, and last year they came on their first skiing trip with us to the Alps! They are just as happy to come kayaking, paddle boarding and mountaineering as they are on a relaxed trip to the pub, where they importantly know how to settle and switch off. Both parents are great runners and enjoy Canicross, recently completing a half marathon amongst the Surrey trails. They are both very happy with other dogs and humans and have been brought up in a busy, loving household amongst adults and children. Our dogs do not work but they show the aptitude for it, picking up simple dummy retrieve commands after basic training. Both parents are very food motivated and therefore very easy to train. All puppies' markings are similar to their Dad; White, Black and Grey Merle/Roan.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
